How did the early Christians know which books to include in the Canon of the New Testament and which to keep out? If we don't have the original manuscript copies of the books and letters of the apostles, how do we know that we have what they originally wrote? Are there really 400,000 manuscript variants in the copies of the New Testament that have come down to us? Do these variants affect any cardinal doctrine of the Christian faith?
